Heat Seal Corporation was founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1950 as a stretch wrapping machinery and related products manufacturer.  Heat Seal's commitment to quality and innovation allowed the company to fast become a major machinery supplier for the supermarket industry.  The continued success of Heat Seal in this market enabled the company to expand into other packaging methods.  Heat Seal has a complete line of supermarket equipment, that includes items for food packaging and meat wrapping such as stretch film wrappers, vacuum packaging and pizza cappers.  Heat Seal also offers industrial sealing equipment such as jaw sealers, impulse sealers, heat guns, hand irons, L-sealers and shrink tunnels.

In the late 1980's, the Shrink Packaging Division of Heat Seal came into being. Heat Seal applied the same winning formula of quality and innovation to the Shrink Packaging industry.  Again, Heat Seal within a short period of time became a major producer of manual and semi-automatic L Sealers and Shrink Tunnels.  Heat Seal also has a variety of equipment such as sleeve wrappers, custom L-bar sealers, banding tunnels, bag sealers and bundlers. Also offered by Heat Seal is a line of heavy-duty L-bar sealers and shrink tunnels.  The heavy-duty line of Heat Seal equipment is durable and made to work in industrial and high speed applications.
